Happiness is a choice. Some days are harder than others but at the end of the day you can make a choice to use the tools in your toolkit to move through the day and get to a place of joy.
Sometimes it is as simple as just choosing it.

Happiness is a choice. Some days are harder than others but at the end of the day you can make a choice to use the tools in your toolkit to move through the day and get to a place of joy.
Sometimes it is as simple as just choosing it.

No matter what is going on …..it is important to giggle a little bit and do something that makes your soul sing!
What do you enjoy doing that makes you sparkle from the inside out?

Taking a lesson from Benjamin Franklin – go for a walk today and take 100 steps. For each step think of something you are grateful for. It is an incredibly powerful exercise to change your perspective and your mindset about things going on in the day.
I understand why Benjamin Franklin did this every day.

In order to get ahead and do things you never thought possible you have to do the work to uncover what the underlying root cause it. What hurt from your childhood are you still carrying with you?
Yes it is true that you are the only one that can fix this hurt but you don’t have to do it alone. The first step is deciding to get help then raise your hand and find the right resource to help you.
When the student is ready the teacher will appear, I have had great success with therapists, coaches, training courses, books, podcasts, Youtube, TedTalks….. The help is there when you are ready….don’t let that stuff hold you back.

This experience has been so powerful for not only me but for my kiddos. I put these pictures up on my “heart wall” in my bedroom and the kids read the posts and watch me take the photos.
There is tremendous truth to the saying more is caught than taught. I hope I never stop learning and growing. I am far from perfect and I goof all the time.
One thing the kids and I talk about all the time is mommy isn’t perfect but I am working on getting better every day and that is all I can ask of them as well.
Together as a team we are always learning and growing. Enjoy the day!

Sometimes all you have to do is focus on the moment and you can feel it again. If you ever feel down…get out your journal and sit in the moment and force yourself to find 10 things that you are grateful for – it will completely shift your entire attitude and outlook.
